Winthrop Students Earn Academic Honors

Callanan Named to Dean’s List at Plymouth State University

Heather Callanan of Winthrop, has been named to the Plymouth State University Dean’s List for the Spring 2021 semester. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must achieve a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.69 during the spring semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester. Callanan is a Management major at Plymouth State.

UW-Madison Announces Spring Dean’s List

The University of Wisconsin-Madison has recognized  Joe Mahoney of Winthrop studying at the  College of Letters and Science named to Dean’s List for the spring semester of the 2020-2021 academic year.

Students who achieve at a high level academically are recognized by the dean at the close of each semester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester. Each university school or college sets its own GPA requirements for students to be eligible to receive the distinction. Most call the honor “dean’s list”, but some grant the “Dean’s Honor List” and “Dean’s High Honor List.”

Soares Graduates Bryant University

 At Bryant University’s 158th Commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 22, 840 graduates of the Class of 2021 and their families and guests gathered on campus to celebrate earning a Bryant degree. Sophia Soares of Winthrop graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Marketing.

SNHU Announces Winter 2021 Dean’s List

 It is with great pleasure that Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) congratulates the following students on being named to the Winter 2021 Dean’s List. The winter term runs from January to May.

Full-time students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 are named to the Dean’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits; undergraduate day students must earn 12 credits in fall or spring semester, and online students must earn 12 credits in either EW1 & EW2, EW3 & EW4, or EW5 & EW6.
