Lorraine Farmer who served as a Sergeant with the United States Marine Corps in World War ll was invited by Richard Honan of American Legion Post 146 to be the principal speaker at this year’s Town of Winthrop Memorial Day Service at the Winthrop Cemetery on Monday, May 31 at 10:00 am. Ninety two years young and sharp as a tack, she wants you there as we honor those military men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our Country.
