The Parc at Harbor View of Winthrop to Host Noted Elder Law Speaker

OnThursday, May 20th at 10:30 AM, The Parc at Harbor View of Winthrop will host another complimentary online webinar presentation by Certified Elder Law Attorney Patrick Curley of Curley Law Firm LLP in Wakefield.

The last time The Parc at Harbor View hosted Attorney Curley for an online webinar, it was oversubscribed and drew an overwhelmingly positive response. The May 20th presentation is entitled “Estate Plan Survival Kit – What you need to protect your family, your assets, and your independence as you age”.

The presentation will address (1) steps to take to avoid Guardianship, Conservatorship, and Probate; (2) the pros and cons of Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts; and, (3) peace of mind planning to be prepared for ‘what if’ scenarios.”

Attorney Curley stated, “The healthcare, legal and financial aspects of aging grow ever more complicated each year. For many, it can be so overwhelming that they simply ‘fail to plan,’ which leaves them completely vulnerable and unprotected. It does not have to be this way. I will offer easy to understand information for all attendees to learn what they need in their estate planning survival kit so they have a clear roadmap to protect themselves and their family in the future.”

Attorney Curley is one of just 25 Certified Elder Law Attorneys in the Commonwealth.  Achieving this distinction is rare because it requires years of focused Estate Planning and Elder Law practice, peer references from Elder Law experts, dozens of hours of continuing education, and passing a rigorous full-day bar-style exam covering 12 Elder Law categories, as well as re-certification every five years.

Attendees must register by contacting Sharline at The Parc at Harbor View at 617-207-3009 or by emailing The Parc at Harbor View’s Marketing Director at Marketing@ParcAtHarborView.com.
