The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has notified Town officials of 39 additional confirmed positive cases of the virus in Winthrop since our last reporting on March 25. These latest numbers bring the total number of cases up to 2,118, with 35 deceased (no change), 46 in isolation (+14 from last week) and 2,037 recovered (+25 from last week).
The Winthrop Public Health is offering assistance to those who may have difficulty registering for the Covid vaccine. Anyone in need can call the EOC number at 617-539-5837 or email eoc@town.winthrop.ma.us.
