Trees for Troops!Â
Dear Editor,
Do you have a brother, sister, uncle, cousin, neighbor or friend serving overseas with the United States Military. My elves and I at Winthrop’s American Legion Post 146 would like to send them a holiday box of cheer from Winthrop Mass, complete with a Christmas tree, lights, decorations, garlands, home made cookies, cranberry sauce, brownies, candy, Santa Claus hats, candy canes etc. Email me their address along with a little info, hometown, age, branch of service, location . . . . . . and I’ll send them a box filled with support, good thoughts and smiles. I don’t have to know them and they don’t even have to be from Winthrop, just that you know they’d like to receive one of these boxes. What does it cost? Nothing! Email me at: rdhonan@comcast.net
