WAA 50 Year Anniversary

Beverly Brody-Barisano, founder of the Winthrop Art Association
(WAA), celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Association on Friday, April 26, during the organization’s annual Spring Show. Brody-Barisano started the WAA 50 years ago by putting an ad in the Winthrop Transcript looking for others who might be interested in art. Over time, it has grown into a strong family of Winthrop creatives.
