Monday, March 11

Party reports a motor vehicle operated by a woman that nearly drove into her vehicle this past Saturday evening at the town lot on Washington Avenue. The woman yelled at her. Caller stated the vehicle came in the wrong way disregarding the several “Do Not Enter” signs.

Female party with altered mental issues enroute to Whidden via Action.

BOLO given to Winthrop units on silver Chevy coming in from Winthrop Parkways heading into Winthrop. Possible drunk driver. One 911 call and unknown if male or female. State Police notified.

D5, S5, W93 and W92 attempting to serve arrest warrant to subject on Shore Drive. One in custody and being transported back to headquarters.

Caller reports a suspicious male was looking into cars near the cemetery and is now walking on Buchanan Street towards River Road. Units spoke with the party and he checked out.

C1 requesting medical aid for elderly female with injuries from a fall.

Walk-in from Winthrop Street with a family member to report she fell this morning walking in front of her apartment and is in pain. Fire and medical contacted. Person transported to the Whidden by Action EMS. Husband of fall victim called to update the address for insurance purposes.

Caller at Governors Park stated that his upstairs neighbor is making a lot of noise, banging on the floor and running around. Units clear. They spoke to the party and she is going to bed. Peace restored for now.

Tuesday, March 12

Caller on Revere Street is the boyfriend and he stated that his girlfriend got assaulted the bar where she works in Boston last night. He came home around 9 p.m. and saw that she had a black eye. Officer advised the party to contact Boston PD to report the incident.

Assisted fire with smoke in building on Hale Avenue. It was a dryer fire.

Todisco Towing removed a vehicle from Governors Park.

Assisted medical with party on Trident Avenue who had trouble breathing. Party was transported to MGH.

Caller on Woodside and Pauline Street states a woman driving erratically on the wrong side of the road. Woman is now currently parked facing the wrong way next to the skating rink. No plate given. Caller spoke to the driver who seemed to be “out of it.” Party was lost but said everything is fine.

Attempted to quarantine a dog on Shore Drive.

Calling party at River Road and Bowdoin Street states that there are two syringes on the steps on the cemetery stairs. 92 picked up one needle.

Report of a gray Honda with a man inside pleasuring himself at Dunkin’ (Donuts) on Main Street. Units report nothing showing. They checked the bridge and gas station area.

Report of a turkey blocking the road at Magee’s Corner. Turkey was moved out of the road.

Unit spoke to an Uber driver that was parked in a handicap spot at Winthrop Marketplace. Party stated they were waiting for a passenger. Passenger got in the vehicle and the vehicle left.

Caller at Governors Park states that she believes there is man who is following her. She met him earlier in the day and when she returned home a couple of minutes ago, he was there. She is concerned for her wellbeing. Its advised caller to call police if she sees the individual or vehicle again. Units will clear but 92 will stay in the area for the time being.

Wednesday, March 13

Motor vehicle stop at Revere and Almont Street. Stop sign violation.

Motor vehicle stop at Revere and Locust Street. Citation issued for stop sign and expired registration. Motor vehicle towed.

Illegally parked vehicle at Court and Loring Road. Vehicles will be moved.

Caller states a black Jeep pickup has been parked on Palmyra Street for over three days and does not have a residential parking sticker. Motor vehicle is legally parked. Will refer to the parking clerk. Enforceable only between 1 and 5 a.m. 93 attempted to make contact with the vehicle owner. 93 made contact with the roommate who will text the vehicle’s owner and have him move the vehicle.

Motor vehicle stop on Highland Avenue. Citation issued for stop sign and texting while driving.

Elderly female on Overlook Drive states that her aide stole items from her home last week and would like an officer to respond as she is handicapped. Clear, report to follow.

A 28-year-old male passed out by the bar area at Blackstrap BBQ. Fire and EMS enroute. 92 clear. He was passed out from eating hot wings.

Party came to the station for an assist with locating child who ran off approximately one hour ago. Information was obtained from caller and SRO regarding contacts. W93 and W92 along with W98 were responding to an address and were cancelled as the child was located by parent and returned to her home. All okay.

Party on Sagamore Avenue reports that subject has been having some issues today and may need some medical assistance. Verizon was contacted and will do an emergency locate on the phone. Cell phone last location was in the vicinity of Hilton Garden Inn in East Boston. No sign of the vehicle or the subject at the Hilton. W98 was sent to check the vicinity for the vehicle and located it at the Hampton Inn southbound in Revere. Control notified and will dispatch an officer and EMS. The party was interviewed by EMS and appears to be fine. Patient refusal was signed.

Thursday, March 14

Motor vehicle stop at Highland and Pond Street. Citation issued for stop sign violation.

National Grid reports branches on the sidewalk on River Road. Winthrop DPW notified and they will let the operations manager know.

Caller on Pauline Street reports a workers there was being verbally assaultive towards her and is refusing to clean up after his job. Units report caller will not answer the door or phone. Party involved was advised this is a civil matter.

Caller on Bartlett Parkway called to state that he is away on vacation, but his brother-in-law called him and said there is a car parked in front of his driveway with a reject sticker. Vehicle was moved.

Party at Governors Park called to state that she was cooking and her stove suddenly stopped working. The caller believes this was done by her upstairs neighbor. This is an ongoing issue at this location. Party was advised that this is a civil matter and to take it up with her management company and if it persists, as it has, to go to East Boston Court. Party had no evidence of her neighbor tampering with her appliances.

Caller on Winthrop Street wants to speak to an officer regarding all the cones holding spots on the street. Officer spoke to the reporting party and advised him of the department that he needs to contact to resolve this issue.

Female on Egleton Park stated that her ex-boyfriend would not leave her home for an extended period of time. Caller stated that the ex-boyfriend was no longer on the scene and she was not in danger. She did not want an officer there at this time but she would come to the station to fill out a form. OIC notified and caller will be given 10 to 15 minutes to come to the station until officers are dispatched.

Caller at Governors Park states the woman below her is banging on the ceiling. Officers spoke to all parties and peace was restored for now.

Motor vehicle stop on Main Street. Verbal warning given.

Friday, March 15

Quality Towing did a repossess on vehicle on Plummer Avenue.

Calling party on Revere Street states a neighbors vehicle was struck. The striking vehicle fled the scene. W91 reports State Police may have offending vehicle stopped in Revere. W91 heading to Eliot Circle to investigate. Both parties exchanged paperwork.

Party on Revere Street states there is man blowing leaves onto her side of the street. It was numerous DPW workers cleaning the streets for the town.

Motor vehicle stop on Veterans Road. Citation issued for texting while operating a vehicle.

Party came into the station to turn in a small, knit purse he found at the bus stop at Pauline and Pleasant Street. Purse contained $87 in cash, a bus schedule no other items or identification were found. Items placed in locker for storage.

Delta 6 requests medical/fire/WPD to respond to high school for evaluation of a student. All enroute. D6 requests S4 to respond.

Officer observed a motor vehicle cross the double solid lines into oncoming traffic to drive around a stopped bus on Pauline Street. A pedestrian had exited the bus with a baby in a stroller and passed by the front of the bus in an effort to cross the street, nearly being struck by the vehicle passing the bus unlawfully. A citation was issued via mail to the owner/operator for several motor vehicle infractions.

Caller found a small tan dog he believes lives on Upland Road. ACO responding. ACO has Calvin on board and returning him to his rightful owner on Upland Road. No answer at the door. Phone number was provided and when called, female is at work but stated her mother should be home. ACO gave the animal to the female in the downstairs apartment and advised them that the animal needs to be properly licensed and told them how to go about doing so.

Officer off with a group of four juveniles behind the old high school. Officer reports they may have been trying to access the roof but his presence made them stop. Parties were cooperative and left the area. They were also advised that there is no trespassing after hours.

93 off with motor vehicle parked on wrong side of Winthrop Street. Will attempt to raise the operator if not, a tow will be requested. Tow was requested and G&J responded.

Report of female yelling on Irwin Street. 91 requests medical. WFD responding. Female party voluntarily to the Whidden. Two juvenile females are safe and sound with the grandmother.

Saturday, March 16

91 found motor vehicle on Ingleside Avenue with the trunk open. Nothing appears out of place. Officer secured the trunk.

A motor vehicle was blocking a hydrant on Park Avenue. 93 spoke to the owner and she will move the vehicle. A ticket was issued.

Motor vehicle stop on Main Street for red light violation.

Caller at Governors Park states a suspicious vehicle there. Male got out of the vehicle and caller believes 94C activity. Language barrier. Caller could not give call taker anymore information. Wife was getting a massage at Governors Park and the male was waiting for her.

Motor vehicle stop on Pauline Street for revoked insurance. G&J on the scene. Update: units are giving operator a couple of minutes to rectify this with insurance company before they hook it. She paid by phone, Met Life policy. Vehicle was not towed.

911 hangup on Pleasant Street. Calling party gave address and stated she was having trouble but hung up before any further information. When party was called back, she stated having a verbal altercation but again hung up before giving any further information. When she was called back, she stated she was having a verbal argument with her daughter. Both females live there. They were advised of 209A rights.

Officer reports fire department put out fire on beach at Grovers and Temple avenues. Officers also cleaned up things that were left by parties that left the scene prior to his arrival.

Caller at Demetri Brothers Liquors states that subject made threats over the phone. He would like to speak with an officer. Male party is currently in a hospital in Jamaica Plain. Officer states that he spoke with caller who stated that he wanted it documented. Male party calls when he is off his medication, threatening caller as well as male party’s father. Caller states that the male party does not do this when he is on his medication. Officer will also be attempting to call the hospital that male party is currently at and request he get his phone privilege taken away.

Sunday, March 17

Lyft driver did not get paid from female party that he dropped off on Woodside Park. Unable to locate the female party. Left deriver has agreed to wave the fee and units will clear.

Caller states that on Quincy Avenue there is a small manhole cover removed. 93 did find the cover to the manhole but could not locate the uncovered manhole and will hold on to the cover in case of future calls.

93 will be giving a courtesy ride to a female party following a domestic disturbance from Winthrop (Executive Apartments) to Revere.

Motor vehicle accident called in by an off-duty officer at Nick’s Place. All parties declined medical and paperwork was exchanged.

Reporting party on Beal Street wanted to place on record that last night he reviewed his home cameras and witnessed a male party walk down his driveway and into his yard. A minute later the male party is seen walking up his driveway and takes a right down the street. Reporting party does not believe anything was taken or vandalized but wanted it on record.

Calling party on Pleasant Park Road wanted her situation noted. She is not in her home at this time because of mold. She is staying at the Chelsea Marriott.

Report of a girl outside Nick’s Place trying to start a fight. 92 reports a verbal between three juvenile females. Both juveniles will be given a ride home. They do not feel comfortable walking. Units will be gathering all information and inform the school resource officer.

Two car motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Douglas Street. Both parties okay and both parties denied medical.

Party came into the station to inform us of the ongoing situation with his children and his ex-wife on Pleasant Park Road. He will be seeking custody in court tomorrow. He was advised of his rights.

Report of suspicious vehicle on Marshall Street. Operator inside the car and has been there for over 30 minutes with the interior light on. Caller is concerned because he does not recognize the car from the area. K9 checked the area and no one was sitting in a vehicle.

22 year old female with altered mental status on Lincoln Street. 92 reports knife is secured. 92 reports female party is secure and is being sent voluntarily to Melrose Wakefield Hospital.

Monday, March 18

Motor vehicle stop on Revere Street. Motorist was given a verbal warning.

Caller reports stolen Amazon delivery.

Two car motor vehicle accident with no injuries at Dunkin’ (Donuts) on Revere Street. Report to follow.

Well being check being sought on Highland Avenue. Checked address both first and second apartment. Nobody home. Checking new address where they may be. Found couple and medical refused. Talked to parents and gave them their rights.

Party came to the station to report a package that was delivered to his home went missing from his front door. He contacted eBay and they are investigating. Package contained a Yamaha taillight worth $102.

Tuesday, March 19

Caller from Dunkin’ (Donuts) on Main Street states there is a small gold colored dog that almost got hit by a car. When units arrived there was nothing showing.

Motor vehicle stop on Revere Street. A citation was issued for stop sign violation and registration not in hand.

Motor vehicle stop on Walden Street. A verbal warning was given.

Party came to the station to report being extorted and threatened regarding activity over the Internet.

Report of a white male knocking on doors on Pleasant Street. Caller states it is suspicious as the party only has a phone in his hand and it is unknown what he is doing. Caller has pictures of him on her cell phone. Party not found and nothing showing in the area.

Report of a silver Rav 4 parked in a handicapped spot for several days with no placard on Cutler Street. Party is moving the vehicle.

Caller on Highland and Sewall Avenue reports a Husky running around the vicinity. Passerby did say the dog was wearing a collar. Unit will be keeping an eye out for the dog.

Motor vehicle stop at Short Beach. Party was advised that the parking lot closes at sun down.

Motor vehicle stop on Shirley Street. Citation warning issued for one way violation.

Wednesday, March 20

Motor vehicle stop on Main Street. Citation issued for marked lanes and no registration in possession.

Taxi driver states that the female party did not pay her fee. She stated she was going into her house on Crystal Cove Avenue to get money and has not come out for 15 minutes. The fare has been settled.

Uber driver has someone sleeping in the car on Shirley Street. He is unable to get her out of the car. Medical requested. Female to the Whidden.

Two male parties talking loudly on the sidewalk causing a disturbance on Johnson Avenue. Per Charlie 1, hold call until units clear from a higher priority call. No signs of anyone out in the street.

Two company came in to report towing a car from Governors Park for parking in a handicap space with displaying an appropriate handicap placard.

Caller on Hutchinson Street states there is a vehicle blocking his driveway. Caller called back to cancel as the vehicle left the area.

Sierra 5 off with a follow-up on Highland Avenue. Clear, spoke  to the residents.

Sierra 5 off with a follow-up on Read Street. Clear, no contact made, left a note with Sierra 5’s contact information.

Motor vehicle stop on Shore Drive. Citation issued for one way violation.

Off with rolled up carpet left outside on Winthrop Street. Elderly party almost tripped over it. Units clear, the item has been put back on the property.

Caller on Buckthorn Terrace states he can hear a woman yelling help and it is coming from Pico area. 93 and 91 off at Pico Park area. Units clear, unable to locate any female party and they checked all around the area.

Thursday, March 21

Third party caller stating her 89 year old mother on Villa Avenue called her stating someone opened her garage door. No one else should be entering the home at this time. Units search the inside of the garage and no signs of forced entry and no unwanted parties there. The furnace did turn on while the officers were on the scene and it did sound like a garage door which they believe is the sound the homeowner may have heard.

Caller on Tileston Road stated a vehicle is parking in two parking spots outside his home and no parking permit as well. Citation was issued to two vehicles for parking permit violation.

Party came in to report a white van made contact with his vehicle at Cumberland Farms causing minor damage while he was in the fueling area. When he attempted to speak with the operator of the other vehicle, the male subject denied making contact and left the area. Party took a photo of his number plate. A voicemail was left at the operator’s residence to make contact with the police department. Party called back and denied making any contact. Both parties advised to process the dispute through their respective insurance company.

Party on Atlantic Street reports a commercial vehicle consistently parking in the area. 92 will time and ticket. Found the owner of commercial vehicle and he will move it.

Party found a cell phone I’m the area by CVS earlier this morning. Owner’s parents contacted and reports it belongs to his young daughter and he will have it picked up.

Report of a syringe in the area of River Road and Cross Street. Services rendered.

Attempt to serve warrant to subject on Somerset Avenue. Party not at location. Attempting to check Palmyra Street. The party that the officers were looking for was not located at either location.

Party came to the station to report that his deceased wife’s personal information was used to apply and open several credit cards. His personal information was also used to open an online social security account.

Report of male party causing a disturbance on Chamberlain Avenue. 91 states male party is going to leave. 93 will be giving him a ride to the train station.

Party found a suitcase last night in the vicinity of Bartlett Road. The owner was contacted and will pick it up after work.

S5 and 93 off with a follow-up on Palmyra Street. Units requesting medical aid for an evaluation. S5 states party being transported to MGH.

Report of a bus with “call police” sign heading towards East Boston. This was called in by a passerby. BOLO given out. Paul Revere Bus was called and they confirmed that it was accidental.

94 states at the Landing, he found storage container open at the construction side with tools in it. 94 shut the door and contacted the owner. The owner is enroute to fully secure the container.

Report of an erratic driver on Trident Avenue. Description and location given out to the units.

Friday, March 22

Walk-in to report that a resident’s fence blew into the road on Shirley Street. Unit investigating if it is a traffic hazard.

Well being check on Shirley Street for a student. Tried an address on Bayview as well to no avail.

Call on Wheelock Street got a call from neighbor stating door is wide open. Nobody should be there. Uncle passed away in February. Nephew enroute to meet police.

Todisco Towing towing vehicle from Governors Park.

Report of Fedex truck causing traffic on Kennedy Road.

Caller stated a child threw something at her vehicle at Citizen’s Bank. Officer going to speak to parties at the convenient store. No damage to the vehicle. Child apologized to the owner of the vehicle.

Units assisted a truck move on Orlando Avenue. 91 is standing by on scene while another truck comes to fix the issue. The excavator on the flat bed is teetering. Another truck showed up to the scene and the unit will be clear.

Report of a black and white dog walking up and down Wave Way Avenue. Units diverted to a disturbance call for loud party. 92 clear from previous call and enroute to animal complaint. 92 reports he did a couple of laps around the area with nothing showing.

Caller on Sewall Avenue reports a loud party with underage drinking. Possible 94C. 93 reports party has been stopped. Aunt is there to secure home and all information is going to be given to the school resource officer.

Caller states that the drama club at the high school left a piece of plywood outside ad it is flapping around due to the wind. She thinks it might fly into her property and damage something. This is a school issue but tried calling the school and got no answer twice. Left a voicemail.

Party on Read Street states there was a vehicle who drove by and a male party got out of the car and threw something into someone’s driveway. Units spoke to the caller and she stated she did not know exactly what was thrown. Units talked to the car in question and everything checks out.

Motor vehicle stop at Hannaford Park. Three male parties have been sent on their way via Uber. They parked their car legally overnight.

Saturday, March 23

Caller on Woodside Avenue states 5-6 people outside screaming. Units stated no one in the area. Blackstrap just closed as well. Units are off in the alley that connect the two streets. Unit stated the parties were sent on their way. Everything is quiet.

Caller on Read Street states that someone threw a rock through his window.

RPD requested Winthrop to check address on Crystal Cove Avenue for vehicle involved in a stabbing. They were advised to use caution. 91 reports the vehicles parked in the

. RPD requesting WPD to stand by. RPD enroute. Units clear, RPD got all the information needed.

Caller on Read Street states that someone jumped out of a car and hit his neighbor’s car with a baseball bat, then jumped back into a car. Small young male.

Party on Cutler Street reports there are two females in her hallway that have been there for over an hour. It is a dispute over a dog. Caller states the females are demanding caller give them the dog. Officers explained to all parties it is a civil matter.

Party came into the station to report that he received an empty Amazon package which did not contain the item that he had paid for.

Caller on Sagamore Avenue stated that his wife cannot make it down the street in her wheel chair as there is a truck blocking the sidewalk. Party is moving his vehicle.

Party came into the station on the advise of counsel to notify the department that she is leaving a note for her landlord in an attempt to resolve a heating issue. She stressed that this note is not a retaliation nor does she want to be retaliated against.

Follow-up investigation on Cliff Avenue. Officers spoke to party over the phone and the party will going to the station to speak with officers.

Party came to the station to inquire about his lost/missing dog. Sierra 4 reports that ACO has custody of the dog since this morning.ACO was notified and will respond to the station to reunite owner with the animal. ACO arrived and the reunion was successful.

Caller on Shirley Street  states that as she was leaving for work this morning at 5:30 she was approached by a white male operating a mid-size black vehicle asking if she needed any help. When she replied in the negative, he drove into someone’s driveway as if to hide and then came back in her direction. She had entered her vehicle by this time and was able to drive off. AM shift will increase patrols in the area during their tour of duty.

Sunday, March 24

Motor vehicle stop at Lucky Garden. Citation issued.

Well being check on Shore Drive. Parties checked out and units clear.

91 stated he is off with parking complaints on Hawthorn Avenue. All vehicles are parked legally with parking stickers.

Party on Pleasant Street states he is in the hospital in Haverhill and he has not heard from his wife in days. Units states that the husband has been in a facility unable to receive incoming calls. Wife will reach out to the nurse to insure she is fine.

911 hangup at Seal Harbor. Advised Sierra 4 for medical aid for male party with chest pains/heat exhaustion. 91 states that the concierge at the building states that no matches for the name or phone number attached to the call. Checked the parking lot and no one was found.

Caller on Myrtle Avenue states that neighbors’ dog has been barking for a few hours. This is an ongoing issue between these neighbors. 92 states no answer at the residence at this time.

91 stated dumpster smoking in the parking lot of golf club. Fire enroute. Fire was extinguished.

Motor vehicle stop on Cross Street. Party was given a verbal warning as well as being advised to speak with mother about a motorcycle also being active under the plate.

Calling party on Jefferson Street states loud music from another apartment. This is an ongoing situation. Officer reports a misunderstanding from party. Thought officer was next door. Officer stated that the party was being very cooperative. This is an ongoing issue and the noise has stopped.

Report of two males inside Ingleside Park using hand gliders. Two parties had parachute and were just doing an equipment check. Parties were not intending to use said equipment.

Calling party on Nevada Street states two vehicles are parked up on the sidewalk and pedestrians have to walk in the street when passing by. Parties came out and moved their vehicles. They are new to the area.

Party on Jefferson Street came to the station to repot that she has no heat and wanted this logged because of an ongoing issue with her landlord. She stated she left a note for the landlord on his door. She is aware of her rights.

Caller on Grandview Avenue reports there is a car playing loud music. She called back to state that the vehicle has moved.
