Monday, Dec.  24

Calling party on Orlando Avenue states that three or more vehicles on her street have their windows broken. No items appear to be taken from the motor vehicles.

Caller on Sagamore Avenue states that two dogs have been outside in the backyard barking for over an hour. Party brought the dogs in before the officer arrived.

Party on Loring Road states a window to his house was smashed in overnight and he believes that someone tried to break in. Vandalism to front screen door window. A report to follow.

Caller on Winthrop Street states that she saw a disabled motor vehicle. Party standing by helped move his vehicle into Duval’s parking lot. No tow needed. It was a motor vehicle accident. Female hit her head, no other injuries or air-bag deployment.

Party at Johnson and Somerset Avenue state that someone removed the police cones and parked their cars there and Santa’s truck will not be able to make the turn. Units cleared and made way for Santa’s route to get by.

Calling party on Paine Street states a black vehicle is blocking his driveway. A parking citation was issued. Homeowner was advised to call back when owner returns home and if the vehicle is still blocking his driveway. Dispatch attempted to locate vehicle owner information with East Boston PD and no information could be provided.

Tuesday, Dec. 25

Caller on Ocean View Street reports there are two or three people fighting. This was called in by a third party in Lynn. No disturbance noticed when units arrived on the scene. Party did have injury from earlier incident that was self-inflicted and not part of a disturbance. Party refused medical.

Report of elderly female with altered mental hitting cars and confused on Revere and Upland Road. A 90-year-old female to hospital. Report to follow.

Two car motor vehicle accident on Revere Street. Minor damage to one vehicle. One party that required medical aid refused. Units assisted with paper exchange.

Wednesday, Dec. 26

Caller on River Road states here two vehicles were broken into. They were parked in the driveway.

Party on Washington Avenue states that he noticed that his truck bed was open and items falling out. Someone broke into his white Ford pickup and stole a few items.

Caller on Ocean Avenue states that someone stolen his subwoofer and broke back window of his Nissan Rogue. It is parked down the street on Veterans. 91 has all the information. This was assigned an incident number.

Party on Chester Avenue states that his vehicle was parked in the driveway and an iPod was stolen. The vehicle was not damaged.

Caller on River Road states that her car was rummaged through and only a pair of sunglasses are missing. 93 clear.

Party came into the station to report finding a woman’s wallet on his front lawn this morning. This may be related to the numerous car break-ins which occurred in the same area early this morning. Wallet contained only credit cards and a MA driver’s license. Everett PD will attempt to contact the wallet’s owner and advise her that the wallet is at the Winthrop PD.

Caller on Chester Avenue states there is a wallet on her stairs and the center console and glove compartment are open inside of her vehicle but there is no sign of forced entry. 92 retrieved the wallet. Nothing was taken from the vehicle. Will do a research on whose wallet it is.

Party on Bates Avenue reports that her motor vehicle was broken into overnight. States that nothing besides a child’s watch was stolen. Caller states she will come to the station to file a report. 91 spoke with the calling party. She was called by Chelsea PD. Their belongings were found at the McDonald’s in Chelsea. Caller will call Chelsea to find out what they found.

Report of a larceny from a motor vehicle on Chester Avenue.

Party came to the station to report that his two motor vehicles were broken into sometime last night. 91 reports that the victim’s property was returned.

Units speaking to another victim of a breaking and entering into her motor vehicle on River Road. 91 to file a report.

Caller from Governors Park states that a tenant is banging on the floor and making a lot of noise. Units report no noise other than a 4-year-old walking around. Peace was restored.

Caller on Otis Street states in front of her house there is a dark blue vehicle parked and it keeps honking its horn. Nothing showing in the area. Spoke to a party in the vicinity whose stated they did not hear or see anything. Units clear.

Off with a motor vehicle occupied by two people at Hanford Park. Parties were advised that the park closes at dusk.

Caller on Sagamore Avenue reports he just got home and as he was walking into his home he observed a pool of blood on the sidewalk. He stated that no one was in the area. Units traced the blood from outside to a different address and made contact with a male party. There was a medical there earlier in the day for a female party bleeding from her foot. The fire department is en route to assist.

Thursday, Dec.  27

Caller on Myrtle Avenue is renting out a room in an AirBnB and the owner and her family are verbally arguing with her inside the house. Unit stated it was a disagreement over text messages about the house. The caller will be leaving tomorrow. The owner and the other parties were advised of their rights and were told it is a civil matter.

Units off with three parties on Shirley Street.

Received fax from tow company reporting a repossession of a motor vehicle from Crystal Cove Avenue.

Unit off with a parked vehicle with a party inside on Oceanview Street and Bayview Avenue. Two parties checked out and they have been sent on their way.

Unit off with a vehicle with open trunk on Veterans Road. Units clear and secured the trunk.

Reporting party came to the station lobby to ask for help with someone out of Landsdale Penn., harassing his wife through text messages and voicemail. It was explained to him that the limitations of the law concerning out of state jurisdictions. He was advised to contact his phone carrier for additional assistance. He asked that we call the party in PA and he believed that my call would be enough to stop the harassment. When we called the number given to me by the reporting party it went unanswered. A message was left on the party’s voicemail. The reporting party was called and he was let known about our call.

Tow company reports repossession of vehicle from Woodside Avenue.

93 off with social worker for subject on Moore Street. Spoke to a parent at the house.

Report of vandalism to vehicle on Cottage Park Road. Report to follow and footage will be forwarded to detectives.

911 hangup from Boston. Calling party stated she received a 911 open line call from address on Putnam Street. Caller states she heard a voice that sounded like a kid swearing in the background but she states it doesn’t sound like anyone was in distress. Pinging 8 meters from said address. Attempted to call number given to us by Boston back and it is not in service. Units spoke to several addresses on the street and all parties are okay and not in any danger.

Caller states that his mother got into a car accident at Wonderland train station today. She exchanged paper work with the other people involved. The people just showed up to the mother’s house making threats that they are going to send people over to her house to start a problem. They were verbally arguing about money. 92 and 93 are off Pleasant Street with the vehicle that took off from the house on Plummer Avenue. Units spoke to all parties involved. The parties will not be showing up at the mother’s house and units cleared.

Friday, Dec.  28

Unit off with two parties in a parked vehicle on Putnam Street. They were waiting for their friend.

Unit off on James Avenue for a vehicle with an open trunk in their driveway. Unit stated a party was peeking out the window. They were advising that the trunk was open. Unit stated that the owner did come out and secured the vehicle.

Report of vandalism to building on Pauline Street. A window busted. Officer reports that the windows were in fact broken by rocks and he will be doing a report.

Calling party on Pleasant Street states that trash is being thrown into her yard and requested an officer to respond to file a report. Officer spoke with the caller and advised her that was trash day and that the weather has been windy. It was not done intentionally.

Party on Shirley Street states a motor vehicle is blocking her driveway. G&HJ has the vehicle and is towing it.

Caller states a black dog ran across the street towards the Landing. No collar no markings. ACO reports that he could not find a black dog.

Party states that two parties stole items from the store he manages on Revere Street. Granola bars and some kind of box. Officer spoke with the parties and the situation has been rectified. 91 will be going to speak with the manager of the store. The parties were advised not to return.

Report of a black/brown dog with collar on Bayview Avenue. Owner came for the dog before ACO arrived.

An ongoing issue between neighbors at Governors Park. Neighbor was screaming at her husband. Officer states that they have spoke with the parties and officers can hear the neighbor banging on the floor. Officer clear and parties have a court date coming up and will be rectifying ongoing issue through the court. Officer will be speaking with management about the situation.

Report of black male at Winthrop Marketplace who circled a female’s vehicle and she has a small child with her. Officer off at Main Street with male party in question. Officer spoke with the male party who stated he was asking for change. He has been advised by officers and all be heading home for the day.

Report of a female sleeping in her vehicle on Summit Avenue. Officer spoke with the female who stated that she has just recently moved there and she was waiting to be let in the house. She has since gotten out of her vehicle.
