Letter to the Editor

Thank You from Santa,

Dear Editor,

I would like to thank the people of Winthrop, and their out-of-town visitors, for their great turn out, support, and well wishes on Christmas Eve. It is such a great tradition that this Town has, and the people are what make it special. I would also like to thank Chuck Flanagan for his assistance, and the Winthrop Fire Fighters Union Local 1070, the Winthrop Fire Department, the Winthrop Police Department, the Winthrop Auxiliary Police, the Winthrop DPW, and anyone else that I may have left out, for their help in making our ride through Town go as smoothly as possible.

Most of all I would like to thank and recognize two of Santa’s best Elves, Richard Swartz and Dennis Boudrow. These two men have given up their Christmas Eve for as long back as I can remember to make everyone else in town have a special Christmas Eve with their friends and families. None of this would happen without their hard work and dedication. They are truly two of Winthrop’s finest.

Santa is also not foolish. That’s why he would also like to thank Mrs. Claus for her help and support. In closing I would like to wish everyone a very happy, safe, healthy, and prosperous New Year.

Best wishes,

Santa
