The North Shore Philharmonic Orchestra makes it annual trip to Revere on Sunday, Dec. 2, when it will play the Robert A. Marra Memorial ‘Sounds of Christmas’ Concert at St. Anthony’s Church. The free concert begins at 4 p.m.Â
The concert has a long tradition, begun in Revere in 1976. Everyone attending the concert is asked to bring a generous donation of non-perishable food to benefit the Revere Food Pantry. Music Director Robert Lehmann has scheduled a program that includes excerpts from ‘The Nutcracker’ and a collection of holiday-themed music, along with all the sing-a-long favorites.
The 2018 concert is principally sponsored by Global Partners LP, Bocchino Insurance Agency, Arbella Insurance, Action Emergency Services, RCN and Comcast.
