Monday, Oct. 29

Report of an elderly male hit by a motor vehicle on Revere Street. An 83-year-old male transported to the MGH.

93 reports deceased large animal at Pleasant Street and Woodside Avenue. DPW contacted and they will send a unit when they can.

Caller at Governors Park states an ongoing situation with her neighbor making loud noise and waking her baby. She is taking her to court, but wants the disturbance on record. She stated that the neighbor is banging on the ceiling and banging windows. Unit was unable to locate the neighbor.

An unknown person in apartment, which is vacant on Shore Drive. Property Manager states a homeless male and he wants him out. A male party was escorted off the property and advised not to return or he would be arrested.

Tewksbury PD called regarding a well-being check on male party on Pauline Street.  This party had made threats to his ex-girlfriend who is from Tewksbury. S3 and S5 off with the father. Units checked the entire house with his father and subject is not there. Tewksbury PD will follow up with the Everett PD for well-being check at that address.

Party on Revere Street states a man harassed her in the parking lot. Older heavy-set man with white hair. The male party took photos of the female. Unit spoke to the party and it was a verbal argument over a parking spot. Second party not on the scene and the caller is leaving the scene now.

Tow driver reports towing two vehicles from Governors Park for trespassing.

General disturbance call on Banks Street. Calling party was having an argument with his wife who left before units got on the scene.

Another trespass tow from Governors Park.

 

Tuesday, Oct. 30

Unit located a vehicle with open trunk on Charles Street. Trunk was secured.

Caller on Shirley Street states a man is stopping people asking for money.  Black male with dark-blue hoodie. Unable to locate male party at this time.

Party states there is a white male wearing a gray hoodie who seems to be casing houses. He walked up Lewis Avenue and then turned left onto Pleasant Street. Officer spoke with the individual in question and he stated that he was just going for a walk and they did confirm that he lives in the area.

Assistant Principal at Fort Banks school stated that one of the lunch ladies observed a male party in a motor vehicle taking pictures of the children during recess. Female party told male party to stop. Officers report that the male party had left prior to their arrival.

Caller from Circuit Road states that a man in another vehicle almost hit him and then threatened him. The other driver then fled the scene. Officer spoke with the party who was honest about an incident. Male party will be summoned to court.

Caller states an unwanted party by the handicapped side basement stair at the EB Newton School. Unit made contact with two juveniles and they were advised to not hang out there and to spread the word. Units will be doing periodical checks in the area.

Party states that he saw two male subjects possibly illegally dumping down Bayou Street. Caller states that one party is wearing a white blanket around his shoulder. Parties were advised to clear the area.

Private tow from Governors Park for trespassing.

Party on Revere Street reports an ongoing property line dispute with her neighbor. Her neighbor has been video-taping her going in and out of her home and this is making her nervous. She wanted this logged in case of further harassing events.

Owner of Winthrop Auto Repair on Washington Avenue is to on the scene but he says he sees on his cameras a vehicle parked in his lot with the door open and a dog in the back seat. He said the car has been there for 20 minutes now. Units states no car on the scene, possibly left before their arrival. Business appears to be secure.

 

Wednesday, Oct. 31

Caller on Shirley Street states a house fire. Units off assisting fire with traffic control. Sierra 4 reports the fire has been put out. Sierra 4 reports all units except 91 and 92 are clear. Fire started from forgotten hot plate. 91 and 92 directing traffic from Bayview and from Holy Rosary. Fire has not left the scene.

ACO in the vicinity of Holy Rosary in search for a dog. ACO came in contact with the family who will be bringing the dog back inside.

Party on Bowdoin Street reports that his front plate is lost or stolen.

Vehicle towed from fire lane in Governors Park.

Unit in playground on Hermon Street with a group of individuals. Individuals advised that the park is closed and for them to move along.

Another trespass tow from Governors Park.

Unit reports there is a large group in Ingleside Park. Units will be clear and one BB gun and one knife was confiscated.

 

Thursday, November 1

Three more vehicles towed from Governors Park by Todisco Towing.

Todisco Towing came in to the station to report yet another tow from Governors Park.

Caller reports that her iPhone was stolen off of her front porch last night and its GPS locator indicates it is on Sagamore Avenue.

Party reports that she found an ATM card belonging to someone at the Citizens Bank ATM on Revere Street. Card secured and brought to the station. RMV lists the card owner as a Winthrop resident. W93 will attempt to make contact with its owner.

Officer attempted to return lot property to party on Shore Drive. Officer was able to make contact with the party and returned the property.

911 call came from Lincoln Street stating two parties were arguing. Caller then stated that the arguing then stopped and hung up after not to send police. Officers came in contact with the individuals who were arguing over newspapers in the lobby. Peace was restored.

Party on Locust Street reports a suspicious white male going door to door asking to perform home inspections for insurance purposes. 91 surveyed the area and did not see anyone fitting the description given.

Station received a summons via fax from the Middlesex Superior Court for subject on Sunset Road. Spoke to the residents who stated that the individual who the unit is looking for was the last person to live at that residence. The party does not live there anymore.

Party from Underhill Street came to the station to report a package that was delivered to his address was stolen before he was able to retrieve it.

 

Friday, Nov. 2

Caller on Sea Foam Avenue states a car has been parked there for four days with no sticker. Vehicle was placed on the 72-hour list.

Party came to the station to pick up his LTC which was issued in 2017. Party stated he did not receive notification that it had been issued.

Concerned citizen brought in a wallet that she found on the ground near the CVS. Owner is a local resident and telephone message was left for him to retrieve his property.

Report of disabled motor vehicle at Revere Street and Crest Avenue. Officers assisted with traffic while situation was figured out.

Officer will be mailing operator on Revere Street and Crest Avenue a citation for impeded operation. Officer was standing with a disabled motor vehicle and the operator of another vehicle caused a traffic hazard.

Caller on Quincy Avenue inquired if her keys were turned in. Keys are described as a black Toyota key along with a house key and an orange sticker. BOLO given out to all officers.

A taxi driver brought his fare into the station because the passenger who was picked up at the airport going to Pleasant Street had misplaced his debit card and his credit card did not work in the cab. Officer mediated a resolution in the lobby that was agreeable to both parties. The amount owed was $24.85.

Calling party on Ingleside Avenue wants to see an officer in regard to information that he has learned concerning his son. Officer spoke to the involved parties, and will file a report on this incident.

Caller at Governors Park states water leaking from the above apartment. WFD reports being able to control part of the leak. Unable to obtain management information and caller would like the police on the scene. Officer informed the party that this is a civil matter and advised her to call the management company in regard to the damage.

Party on Fremont Street states there is a commercial truck parked on the street and it has been there for a while. Parties are just unloading some supplies and will be leaving shortly.

 

Saturday, Nov. 3

An officer was flagged down by a woman at the CVS. 93 states that the woman is upset that the pharmacy is not giving her a prescription. Peace was restored.

Report of an injured bird on Grovers Avenue. Caller is going to remain on the scene until a unit arrives. Caller then left the scene and ACO was unable to locate the bird.

Units assisted fire with traffic on Grovers Avenue.

Caller on River Road states she has an exchange student that does not speak English at her door. She doesn’t know where he is supposed to be. She is requesting police assistance. Officer brought the male party to another address and is with the family that he is staying with.

Caller at Governors Park stated a tree fell on top of someone’s car inside the parking lot. 91 reports a town tree from Winthrop Street fell directly on top of the vehicle. Requests DPW to respond. Officer will attempt to make contact with the registered owner in the complex. 91 reports making contact whit he registered owner and made him aware of the damage. DPW will send out workers to remove the tree. Services were rendered.

Party on Shirley Street states there is a flag caught on the telephone pole and she is concerned it could fly off the pole and strike a motor vehicle. Officer requested DPW to be notified about the flags wrapped around the pole. DPW notified and will handle it on a non-emergency basis.

Caller at Trident Avenue and Shore Drive states there is an erratic driver driving down the street the wrong way. Caller states that the driver is driving a new black Jeep with new tires. One of the tires is flat. Caller states looked like the driver would be intoxicated. Officers located the vehicle. It was parked in the driveway of a home on Trident Avenue. No damage. Spoke to the operator who stated he does have a flat tire but did not strike anything. The party checked out.

Caller lives on Wave Way Avenue and he states there is vehicle parked at the corner sticking out in the middle of the street. Caller states if an emergency vehicle had to come down it would not fit. Officer drove down the entire length of the street and did not observe any violations.

Officer was flagged down by a citizen on Marshall Street in regards to a hit and run accident. Officer took pictures and will file a report.

Caller on Main Street reports he hears somebody plowing behind the Mobile gas station. Caller sounds extremely intoxicated. His story was not making any sense. Units report nothing showing. Noise could be made by one of the gates in the lot but there is no one around.

 

Sunday, Nov. 4

Report of a loud house party on Beal Street. Units spoke with party and the music will be turned off.

Suspicious activity on Neptune Avenue. 93 spoke to parties and they gave same description. 93 was given permission to search the area for vehicle. 93 checked area and nothing showing. Reporting party stated a black Escort tried to hit them as they were walking their dog. They took off down the one way on Shirley Street.

State Police pulled over vehicle at Main and Read streets from a previous BOLO. They need backup units. State Police has custody of party. 92 will remain on the scene awaiting a tow.

Calling party states that at the end of Argyle Street there is construction workers out on the street doing work, which is not permitted on Sunday. Another party called in a complaint on the same issue. No construction going on. Trucks were starting to remove equipment that was bogged down in the mud due to the rain.

Party on Pearl Avenue states that a female worker in the building is physically assaulting him. He would like to speak to an officer. No assault took place. It was a misunderstanding between a new staff member and a resident. They were advised to contact management.

Todisco Towing employee came to the station to report a motor vehicle tow for no permit sticker at Governors Park.

Caller at Governors Park states excessive noise from upstairs neighbors and simple threats made from tenants to the calling party. Spoke to the neighbor and peace was restored.

Female from Veterans Road came to the station to report a past larceny. Victim states an individual rode by her on a bicycle and ripped her phone from her hand. She said he continued southbound on Veterans towards Thompson’s Liquor. She described the suspect as wearing a green hooded sweatshirt.
