Monday, Oct. 8

Party on Upland Road reports a bike at the top of the street in the grass. Item was brought to the station.

Todisco Towing reported they towed a vehicle for a parking violation at Governors Park.

Unit assisted female party with getting her belongings out of a home on Revere Street. The party got her items from the home.

Caller on Sunset Road stated that his neighbor has been knocking on his door. He did this approximately 30 times. This happened yesterday. States that he was acting strange. No weapons, but he forced himself into the home. Caller states he started banging on the door this morning. Unit talked with both parties. Possibly mental health issue. If this continues, party will report it to Housing.

Party on Sunset Road called back about the neighbor harassing him. Unit talked with both parties again and subject will be referred to Housing.

Caller on Pleasant Street states he caught two children around 13, breaking into boats in the marina. Both 13-year-old children were not breaking into boats, but playing in the marina. They were sent on their way.

Party on Wave Way Avenue states she is having a problem with her neighbor and believes he is tampering with her house. No sign of any crime committed. Possible mental health issue.

Male party knocking on caller’s door on Sunset Road again. There is no trespass order in effect. Was vacated back in April. Male party was sent on his way with his belongings. He was also advised that if he is to return, he will be dealt with accordingly.

Party on Veterans Road came into the station to report that she has ended her relationship with her former boyfriend/roommate but he has not returned her key. Officer advised her to contact the building management in regards to changing her locks as even if he returns the key, there is no way of knowing if copies were made.

Caller on Bates Avenue states that his neighbor is in the backyard using a table saw wearing a helmet with a light attached so he can see. Party states that it is very loud. Unit reports party will shut the saw off for the night.

 

Tuesday, Oct. 9

Single car accident into a pole on Beacon Circle. One in custody for driving under the influence. Arrested was Leonel Edgardo Guzman_Cabrera, 28, 370 Ocean Ave, Revere. G&J has the vehicle.

Party on Wave Way Avenue states there is a gentleman in the house turning the breakers on and off. Unit was made aware of the call. Unit asked for fire to respond to assist with the homeowner with a lockout. A neighbor called in asking to speak to an officer before they leave. Units spoke with both parties. Calling party was in the hospital the other day. Will seek a follow-up about this potential issue. The second party was cooperative and showed the units everything they needed to see. No sign of any tampering at the calling party’s house.

A motor vehicle accident with injury on Main Street. It was a rollover. G&J enroute. A 28-year-old female was able to exit the vehicle. A tow was requested for the vehicle.

A well-being check was asked on a female on Winthrop Street who was getting arraigned today. 92 states no answer at the door. Appears that no one is home. A male party called back, could not respond to the door on time. He saw the officer on camera. Called back to see why police were at his home.

Report of a male party taking pictures of the water tower. Party left prior to unit’s arrival.

92 reports someone found a white dog in the area of the CVS. White dog, party called the number on the tag but were unsuccessful. ACO notified and will respond.

Party on Washington Avenue came to the station to report being scammed via phone call from a person claiming to be from the Social Security Office in Houston, Texas. She lost $5,500 from her Bank of America account due to this. They were notified and are investigating

 

Wednesday, Oct. 10

Caller on Shore Drive states there is a young female outside crying sitting across on the wall. He asked what was wrong and she stated she was dropped off and that she was stupid for accepting the ride. Caller did state he was handicap and would speak to an officer. He believes she may have been assaulted but unsure. Units requesting medical for female party. Female party is voluntarily going to MGH.

Assisted citizen on Buckthorn Terrace trying to get things from a house. 92 states the son is with him and he has his belongings. 92 is driving him to his grandfather’s.

Call reporting that mason workers appear to be dumping in to water over the beach wall on Shore Drive. 91 spoke to the crew and they are doing touch up work. No evidence of any dumping.

Another report of a man pumping his pool water into the ocean. Complaint stated that the pool water would kill the wildlife. 93 states no pool water going into the ocean. Pool water still in the pool and it is salt water.

Unwanted party at door of house on Bellevue Avenue and this party will not leave. 91 assisted the 92. 91 states that the female party has left the scene before their arrival. Will search the area but nothing showing.

92 en route to check on a swimmer on Shore Drive and Locust Street. Swimmer is okay, just exercising.

92 states he was flagged down by the DPW concerning a sidewalk violation near the Point. 92 clear, code enforcement is issuing a violation for destruction of property. Vehicle has been moved and placed on the property.

Officer reports an operator refusing to accept a parking citation in the town center (French Square) for parking in a posted “no parking” area. Officer will be mailing the citation.

Caller states a male special needs man told her there are two girls in the creek by Miller Field. Officer spoke to the reporting party and the male, how is known to the officers. The male is concerned about some teens in the area near the field. Teens are just doing their homework and enjoying the warm day. No hazards.

Caller on Hutchinson Street states that his passenger front window has been smashed. His wallet was on the driver’s seat. They took all his cash and a CD.

Female came in to report that someone backed into her motor vehicle last night. She stepped out and spoke to the driver. He was very apologetic and did not speak English. She told him it was okay and he drove off. She did not realize the damage to her vehicle because it was too dark and wants this reported after seeing the damage.

Units assisted State Police on Shore Drive and Charles Street. Unit got a call from State Police about a party on the beach. That party has been removed.

 

Thursday, Oct. 11

Report of an erratic car passing Dunkin Donuts going into Winthrop via Revere Street. Car was reported going 9 m.p.h. and holding up traffic. BOLO given out to units.

Female party reports that her car was hit when she was on her walk on Tafts Avenue. State Police notified.

Report of abandoned kittens on Main Street. Mass Paws will be responding to take custody of the cat and kittens that were left behind.

Two car motor vehicle accident with injury on Revere Street.

Party called to report that his LIC to operator was lost somewhere between East Boston and Winthrop. Caller seemed off and a bit argumentative and then became abusive. Party was advised to come to the station if he wished to make a report. Party stated that he did not want to come to the station and wanted this on the record so that he is not accused of anything as he was in the past. Caller became rude regarding salaries, etc. Call was ended. after again advising the party to come to the station as unit had no idea who was actually calling and making the lost report.

Calling party reports that someone is playing the drums on Pleasant Street in the attic all night and her children cannot sleep. Officer spoke to the person who stated he will stop the drum playing for the night.

Caller on Winthrop Street reports there is a loud party going on in another apartment. Units clear, units spoke with parties on the second floor and they will be keeping it down. Peace was restored.

 

Friday, Oct. 12

Calling party on Woodside Avenue states she observed Capital Waste leaving trash bins in the middle of the street. It was near Children’s Corner preschool. No Capital Waste truck in the area. Units clear.

Investigating a walk-in complaint regarding a female party acting up at Fremont and Burrill Terrace. Individual has left the area. Officers spoke to the neighbors and they were advised to call us back if she returns.

Two car accident called in by BPD on Waldemar Avenue. No reported injuries. Received a second call and the parties exchanged papers and possibly left the area.

DPW hit a parked van on Madison Avenue. They need assistance.

Happy Kitchen on Revere Street called to report that a party called in an order. Someone ordered $82 worth of food for delivery. When it was delivered, no one was home. Office is going to look into who owns the phone.

Officer will try to serve a firearms license suspension notice and seize firearms to subject on Shirley Street. Unit states subject not home and is in New Hampshire, according to the wife, and will be home tomorrow. He will contact the station when he gets back. Wife has no knowledge of firearms location in the home.

Report of two white males looking into houses in the area of Upland Road and Quincy Avenue. Last seen walking up the hill toward Cliff Avenue and Natant Avenue. Units checked the area and they have not seen anything. Nothing was showing.

A male party came in to report two 16-year-old girls hanging around the creek near the football field. Unit reports checking the area and all is clear.

An attempt to serve summons to individual on Shirley Street. Unable to locate the subject. The paperwork was not served.

Reporting party on Washington and Shirley Street states a group of eight-10 kids playing with a football and running and in and out of traffic. The football is bouncing off of business windows and cars. Units states it is approximately six youths. They were advised to play in the.

Subject from Shirley Street walked into the station to turn in his LTC per suspension letter.

Attempted to serve summons to subject on Shirley Street. Unable to make contact. Neighbors said that the subject has not lived there for about a year.

 

Saturday, Oct. 13

Attempt to serve summons to subject on Veterans Road. No service made. Family member said he does not reside there.

Caller on Winthrop Street who wanted to remain anonymous, states that across the street there are five yellow bikes that are blocking the sidewalk. Bikes are not in the way.

Report that commercial trailers are blocking Cottage Park Road. Officer spoke to the workers who were paving a driveway. They were blocking one lane and the street was impassable. They also did not have a police detail. They will be on their way.

Caller on Shirley Street reports that she is being harassed verbally by the tenant. Caller will report if there are any future occurrences.

Report of a motor vehicle on Winthrop street with the driver passed out and a baby in the car. Officer spoke to the driver. He’s a delivery driver just taking a nap.

Party came to the station to retrieve his motor vehicle key. Party was involved in an earlier car stop and he brought license operator here to pick up his registered motor vehicle.

Caller on Shore Drive states a male party is intoxicated and sleeping in the kitchen and he would like the party removed. Party transported to MGH.

Motor vehicle accident with a parked motor vehicle on Shirley Street. Units were unable to get in contact with the owner of the vehicle struck. Units state to inform the owner if he calls to let them know that a report will be ready at the station tomorrow.

 

Sunday, Oct. 14

Motor vehicle accident on Main Street. Parties are exchanging information and requested an officer. On Boston side of the bridge, Boston Police have been notified. It is not a minor accident. No injuries, no one is requesting medical.

Caller on Bartlett Parkway reports vehicles parked on both sides of the one way street very close to blocking his and other resident’s driveways. Officer spoke to the reporting party. He was concerned after the sidewalk work was done that the no parking on both sides of the street, the sign was not put back up. DPW will be contacted tomorrow.

Report of a female on Charles Street going in and out of cars. Giving female party ride back home.
