Winthrop High School Athletic Director Matt Serino was inducted in to the Saugus High Athletic Hall of Fame at a banquet Friday night at the Saugus Elks. Serino was a Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic ice hockey player and helped lead the Sachems to back-to-back Division 2 state titles in 2003 and 2004. Matt’s wife, Sabrina Cataldo Serino, a three-sport standout, was also inducted into the SHS Athletic Hall of Fame.
