We know that spring has sprung when it’s time for the annual St. John’s Episcopal Church Book, Cookie, and Plant Fair that is set to take place this Saturday, May 19, from 9-1 at the church at 222 Bowdoin St.
The annual sale is a fun-filled undertaking both for the parishioners and our community-at-large, where those who attend the fair can purchase delicious, home-baked goods, books, and established plants that have been donated by parishioners from their gardens.
This is the sort of event that makes Winthrop what it is — a nice place to live — and we urge everyone to partake of the festivities.
