A Dawg Day Afternoon will be offering dog walking and pet sitting services to the residents of Winthrop beginning May 7th, 2018/ This unique service provides small group, on-leash walks and in-home pet sitting, which is a welcomed alternative to leaving pets locked in kennels while owners are away. The walks are longer and the groups are smaller, keeping the gods well exercised and well socialized.
Rijk Gupta founded a Dawg Day Afternoon after he was hit by a car in Boston. As he started his rehabilitation, Rijk spent time walking his friend’s dog. He realized he had the perfect opportunity to create a business out of this. While the long walks helped Rijk get back on his feet physically, it was his love for animals that got him through his rehabilitation process.
A Dawg Day Afternoon is owner run and operated by Rijk Gupta, who has been providing quality and sought after pet care services throughout Cambridge, MA since 2008. Bonded and insured for his client’s safety, residents of Winthrop will have access to the quality and care that only a small local business can provide. Interested persons may call 617-913-0268 or visit www.adawgdayafternoon.com for more information and rates.
