McDuffee Turns in Papers for Precinct 1 Councilor

Mike McDuffee, candidate for Town Council, Precinct 1 delivered his Nomination Papers to the Town Clerk on Wednesday, Aug. 30.

The following is his statement:

“I am proud and grateful for the support and help given to me in the past weeks of campaigning. Winthrop has some wonderful people filled with great knowledge and ideas for this town. As a member of Town Council, I will continue to reach out to the citizens of Winthrop for their input and assistance in moving our town forward.

We have a wealth of knowledge in the people of Winthrop, a resource that I plan to use. I look forward to continued meetings with the voters in Precinct 1, as well as any other concerned Winthrop citizens. It is a time of change in the town and we have to work together to get things moving in the right direction.”
