Residents Take the Polar Plunge

Giuliana and Tyson Graygor give the ‘Hang Loose’ signal after dipping into the freezing ocean last Sunday during the Point Shirley Plunge on Yirrell Beach. More than 100 residents hit the cold waters on Sunday for the annual neighborhood tradition initiated eight years ago by Scott McGovern and John Merlino.
