Peter Lyons is holding tryouts for the Winthrop High School golf team this week at the Winthrop golf course and all students are welcome to show up and be a member of the team. Lyons has been an outstanding leader of the golf program for many years and the improvement of his players’ skills under his tutelage is well respected by his coaching colleagues.
We wish Peter, who is a pharmacist in his professional life, and his team the best of luck for a successful 2016 season.
