Just a  reminder that we hope as many residents as possible will make their way to the Winthrop High School cafeteria this Sunday morning, June 19, in order to take part in the annual Winthrop High Football Pancake Breakfast that serves as the chief fundraiser for the Winthrop High football program.
This annual Father’s Day event has been a tradition for 50 years — indeed, we’re sure that there are some grand-dads who attended this event as youngsters and who will be bringing their grandchildren.
The cost is just $7.00 for all-you-can-eat pancakes, muffins, sausages, and eggs.
The event will take place from 7:30 to noon. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
So please support WHS football coach Sean Driscoll and his troops, who will be serving up the pancakes. It’s a great a way to get together with friends and family and to support our high school football program.
