Viking Pride Tutoring Program

The Viking Pride Foundation deserves much credit for its renewal of the tutoring program at Winthrop High School. The Foundation, under the direction of chairman Vincent Crossman, had made a $10,000 donation for the second year in a row to keep this successful program going. The program helps student-athletes who might need additional academic assistance. The fact that Viking Pride has four professional tutors helping the students underlines the organization’s commitment to this project. We join WHS Principal Matt Crombie in expressing our gratitude to the Viking Pride Foundation for launching and funding this innovative program.
