Sen. Anthony Petruccelli is preparing to host the 12th Annual Eastie Elves fundraiser on Dec. 11 and it promises to be another enjoyable evening of food, fun, and festiveness – and all for a great cause.
The event, chaired by the senator’s sister, Diana DeLeo, results in hundreds of toys being donated to local children for the holidays. The committee does not charge an admission price – rather, it requests that guests bring one unwrapped toy that will be donated to a local non-profit organization.
The numbers illustrate the success of Sen. Petruccelli’s Eastie Elves event during the past 11 years: thousands of toys have been donated and gift certificates have gone to various organizations such as the Crossroads Family Shelter.
Sen. Petruccelli has done much in his legislative to improve the quality of life in Revere. He has looked out for our best interests and worked closely with Mayor Dan Rizzo, Speaker of the House Robert A. DeLeo and State Rep. Roselee Vincent (and former State Rep. Kathi Ann Reinstein in the past) to secure grants and state funding for local projects and programs.
The senator’s efforts in hosting the Eastie Elves are admirable. He wants to make a local child’s holiday season special and memorable. We ask that you consider attending Eastie Elves and joining Sen. Petruccelli in this noble endeavor.
