Winthrop’s Ferry Arrives

The new Winthrop ferry arrived late Tuesday morning after a 525 nautical mile trip from Maryland to Winthrop. Top speed for the boat is about 24 knots. Built by Evans Boats of Crisfield, Maryland for $980,000. The Coast Guard will be performing the final authorizations for the Winthrop crew. In the top photo Winthrop Capt.
