Democrats Get Their Chance

The Democratic candidates running for President had their first debate of the political season Wednesday night at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders have been declared the “winners” in the debate by the national pundits and the debate provided a different prospective and tone from the Republican debates that have been dominated by Donald Trump’s presence.

There are still a few months before the Iowa caucuses and the first-in-the-nation New Hampshire primary, but the excitement is building and we know that Winthrop residents are closely following all the development in the Presidential election.
