Linda Carlisle of Overlook Drive, Winthrop passed away suddenly at home on September 14. She was 73 years old.
Born in Boston, the beloved daughter of the late Adeline (DaMotta) and Matthew A. Mara, she has resided in Winthrop since 1996 and prior to her retirement was employed as a gate agent for American Airlines for many years.
She was the loving mother of Robert Carlisle and his wife, Dawn of Winthrop and Jason Carlisle and his wife, Jessica of North Carolina; the dear sister of Joseph Mara and his wife, Connie and the cherished grandmother of Serena.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the Ernest P. Caggiano and Son-O’Maley Funeral Home, Winthrop today, Thursday, September 17 from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday, September 18 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 10 a.m. Committal will be private.
