Anslinger’s Book A Must Read

With the incredible success of the movie, “American Sniper,” we call your attention to Winthrop resident Kate Anslinger’s book, “Saving Jason,” that was inspired by a war veteran who suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Kate, whose pen name is E.J. Hanagan, hosted a book presentation event Tuesday and it was great to see the passion that she has for her work and the knowledge she possesses about the book’s central theme. We hope you enjoy reading the story about her event in this week’s Sun-Transcript.
