Town Republican Committee Backs Charlie Baker

At the August 18th meeting, The Winthrop Republican Town Committee voted to endorse Charlie Baker for the office of Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The committee vote was unanimous.

Charlie Baker previously served the Commonwealth as Governor Weld’s and Cellucci’s Secretary of Administration and Finance. He also previously served as CEO of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care.

“As part of the Weld/ Cellucci team, Charlie was instrumental in turning a billion-dollar deficit into a surplus while helping to create a half million jobs. Additionally, he oversaw a number of common sense cost-saving reforms/” said Bob Wynne, the Chairman of the Winthrop Republican Town Committee “For these reasons; the vote of the commonwealth forward.”

The committee urges all votersto support Charlie Baker’s for Governor on Tuesday, November 4th. He is the bipartisan leadership that Massachusetts needs.
