Removing the Old Steeple

Steven Stoddard Sr., Lois Digirolamo, and Steven Stoddard Jr., of the First Church Winthrop United Methodist, 217 Winthrop Street, are pictured in front of the church steeple that has been removed and will be replaced with a brand new steeple. The historic church bell will be moved to the lawn in front of the church. A story about the project will appear in next week’s edition.
