Good Luck,Deanna

That was a nice story on the front page of last week’s Sun-Transcript about Winthrop resident Deanna Buonomo, who was selected for a spot as a contestant in the 2014 Miss Massachusetts USA Pageant that will be held in November. Deanna has been an excellent role model for young women throughout her academic and athletic career. Buonomo credited the outstanding education that she received at Winthrop High for setting the foundation for her admission to the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, which many consider the “Harvard” of pharmacy colleges in the United States. Deanna graduated from MCP and worked in the health sciences industry. Deanna, who has a sparkling personality, has begun preparing for the pageant and we hope townspeople will support her quest to bring home the prestigious title of Miss Massachusetts USA to Winthrop.

Good luck, Deanna, and congratulations on fulfilling one of your dreams.
