Monday, July 21

W93 reports two parties on foot sent out of Hannaford Park.

Caller on Floyd Street states that she saw an older male bent over that did not appear to be well. 93 did an area search to no avail. The call was unfounded.

Wireless caller reports male subject passed out in a Chevy vehicle on Belle Isle Terrace and his friend is claiming he is suffering from a heroin overdose. Vehicle and parties gone prior to officers/medical arrival.

Caller on Wave Way Avenue reports ongoing dispute about pets with upstairs neighbor. Units report speaking with all parties and restoring peace for the time being.

Party on Russell Street requests an ambulance for her husband for pneumonia complications.

Detectives and officers responded to Moore Street with a warrant for subject there. They report he was placed under arrest in an upstairs bedroom closet. The warrant was for an assault with a deadly weapon.

Female came to the station to bail out her husband. While she was here a phone call came in for her and she left. She came back a minute later with her son who was hit by a motorbike in East Boston. WFD checked out the young man and he and his mother refused medical from the Fire and Action. They will go to East Boston to report the incident.

Party on Tafts Avenue called to report being harassed by a neighbor. Officers report it is a civil matter.

Walk-in party states that he was EBDC earlier seeking HPO against his landlord. He  referred her to seek an EHPO after reporting harassment. He states that the landlord is threatening to throw out his belongings if he does not move out.

Caller reports a domestic in a described area on Shirley Street. Units locate the address and speak to all parties. They report it was a verbal only and they were advised of their rights.

Party on Pauline Street reports that someone appears to need medical assistance in the area of the bus stop. W91 and W93 checked the area and female located. WFD notified.

91 reports two subjects dispersed from Hannaford Park.

 

Tuesday, July 22

93 reports he observed what appears to be a bonfire at the rear of the water tower. A group of six from Everett was dispersed from the area.

Letter sent to the department involving harassment on Kennedy Road with Off. Feeley following up. The officer spoke to all involved and one of them will come to the station with a video.

Voicemail to the chief’s office regarding kids yelling, swearing and the total disregard for peace and quiet in the area of the basketball court on Walden Street. When the complainant was called, his main concern was the hour the lights stay on. A call to the DPW to have the lights turned off at 10 p.m. instead of 11 p.m. They will see what they can do.

Detectives off on a follow-up investigation at Cumberland Farms.

Father of a person thrown out of the Alcohol and Drug Free Lodging Home on Shore Drive came to see if we could have an officer go with him to pick up a few belongings. Officer reports all went okay. He’s clear.

Male at Joanne’s Barber called to report a lady just fell outside. Action and fire notified.

Report of a possible car fire on Pleasant Street. W93 reports fire extinguished prior to his arrival.

Caller on Cross Street reports a loud argument. Units report one party claiming violation of a 209A. Units stayed on the scene to keep the peace while female party collected her belongings.

Party at Energy To Go reports unconscious female. Units report female was only resting, not unconscious. A check revealed an active default out of Woburn Court for the subject.

Female reports an assault at the beach. 91 Ramadini and 93 Curran report there was an assault and request EMS. WFD will respond and one transported to MGH.

Caller reports a male looks like he needs an ambulance on Winthrop Parkway. Unit reports male party in Revere. Fire and ambulance notified. Unit reports a diabetic will be transported to the hospital. The officer took dog to be dropped off at girlfriend’s house. Unit clear.

Party reports a suspicious situation with an unwanted guest on Washington Avenue.

Caller on Quincy Avenue reports that her boyfriend made some concerned comments. EMT called to report a cancellation after girlfriend spoke with boyfriend. Units report roommate states the party left for Revere. He will call to check that he is okay.

Two parties called from Pebble Avenue. First the homeowner, then the contractor right after. This was to report a dispute over a masonry job and trespass by the contractor. We attempted to mediate the dispute and keep the peace. Homeowner wanted the contractor arrested for trespassing and wanted his money back. The contractor wanted his equipment. Both parties were told to settle the matter through the court and the contractor was warned not to enter the property without permission.

Caller on Winthrop Street reports male is at his residence. Units report the subject left prior to their arrival and are on Moore Street looking for him. Another party called to report that he is not at Moore Street and is not turning himself in.

96 Curran reports male in town and has a warrant. 91 DeCarlo and 93 Brokmeir assisted and placed subject in custody.

 

Wednesday, July 23

Reports of a person down by the skate park on Walden Street. WFD notified. W91 and 902 responded and report a 17-year-old male had fallen and was intoxicated. W96 responded to juvenile’s residence and notified his parents.

Party called to report very loud music coming from across the hall from her on Shore Drive. Officers spoke to the subject who will turn it off for the night.

Caller reports a boat with three males pulled up behind Belle Isle Seafood and disappeared. He believes they could be looking in other boats. Units report they spoke to the group who stopped to get gas the Mobil gas station.

Officer is off with two males arguing over a minor motor vehicle crash at Washington and Veterans Road. No damage to either vehicle. Operators went on their way.

Lt. Scarpa requested a cruiser respond with a citation to cite a driver who was operating on the wrong side of the road at Crest and Shore Drive.

Party reports someone took some paint they had drying outside last night and spread it all over the wall at Kathy’s Place. Also the ground, and the fence at the adjacent property. They would like s to keep an eye on the area and will notify DPW in the future when they need to get rid of paint.

Units attempt to serve a c.123, s.35 warrant to subject on Shirley Street.

E911 wireless caller reporting smoke emanating from the front door on Highland Avenue. WFD notified. Second 911 call received shortly thereafter. WFD called and requested an officer to the address. Officer reports weapons located inside the home. Lt. Perrin contacted and will respond.

Party on River Road came in to report that his son’s bicycle was stolen from the basement sometime overnight or early morning. He did not observe any signs of forced entry and was unsure whether the door was secured properly. Bicycle was described as a BMX Fiend, hammered bronze/gold colored with several custom additions such as a Free Coaster rear wheel, blue front hubs and chrome forks valued at approximately $1,000. He was unable to provide any additional information.

Manager of CVS called regarding a shoplifter. A male, approximately 30 years old, fled on a silver bicycle on Walden Street towards Main. He was carrying a red bag. Area search negative. Officers spoke with caller. All items were retrieved. They will give a copy of the video with the suspect tomorrow.

Caller on Putnam Street reports that his fence was damaged, car scratched by a paint roller. Refer to additional damage that was at Kathy’s Place. Entered only for now.

Off duty Sgt. A. Hickey reports a male with two pit bulls uncontrolled and then he let them loose unleashed on the beach at Crest Avenue and Shore Drive. ACO was called and will follow up with the known party.

Male on Prescott Street called to report that he is coming home and he does not have a key. The conversation was strange; reports his wife and mother-in-law may not let him in. When wife was contacted, she reported that she doesn’t want him home and she is afraid. W91 responded to advise. The husband came to the station. W91 had an ERO completed at the home and the on-call judge contacted from there. It was issued. W91 brought the ERO to the station and served the defendant in hand. Officer also brought a bag of overnight supplies for subject. W91 advised him of ERO and contacted Quincy Police regarding storage units in their city containing firearms.

 

Thursday, July 24

Caller on Cutler Street reports a loud group in front of house. Received a second call on the group. Unit report they spoke to the group and they will head in for the night.

Woman on Court Road reports a male with a backpack and a helmet is riding a bike and circling the area. The caller at first thought it might be a police officer on a bike. W91 checked the area and reports several motor vehicles appeared to have been gone through. W91 will approach from Main Street checking for the rider. Officers located several cars that appeared to have been entered and gone through. W92 located a party at Pauline and Pleasant and that party was not involved. W92 located another rider at 7/11. He was also checked out and not involved.

Caller on Birch Road reports that her vehicle was broken into last night and TomTom GPS was stolen.

Party on Loring Road reports someone entered her unlocked motor vehicle and rummaged through her console and glove box. She does not believe anything was taken at this time.

Party came in to report the theft of jewelry at her residence by a known party. Victim/witness form provided.

Caller on Loring Road reports loose change was taken from his unlocked motor vehicle parked in his driveway overnight. No damage reported. The party was advised to secure his vehicle.

Officer requesting EMS for a female that has fallen down on Washington Avenue. WFD and EMS notified. Officer repots patient being transported to MGH.

Quincy Police was contacted in regards to 209A order. They will go to the defendant’s mother’s house and try to get his firearms as per judge order. Quincy PD contacted the mother and she states all the firearms are hers and he has no access to them.

Party on Kennedy Road requested a wellbeing check on his friend, as he has been unable to make contact with her. Units spoke with the female who was sleeping.

Male on Prescott Street was served the 1-year extension on his restraining order. He was advised of all his rights. No return was sent to our department.

Party on Wave Way Avenue reports that his landlord informed him that he entered his home yesterday in the presence of a real estate agent. They were viewing the property so that it can be listed for sale. He states he did not give the landlord permission to enter his home without him present. He wanted this logged for possible civil action.

Caller reports a group of kids smoking crack behind Kathy’s Place. Detectives report no 94C violations. Subjects were using a vaporizer.

Report of strong smell of gas on Woodside Avenue. WFD notified.

Motor vehicle stop and search led to arrest for one male for three counts of possession of Class A drug, possession of Class A drug with intent to distribute and operating a motor vehicle with revoked license.

Woman reports people may be on the DCR equipment on Shore Drive and may be trying to take things. State Police notified. W91 responded and reports no one around.

Male reports a woman has fallen on Shirley Street and hit her head. Fire notified. Caller was disconnected and called back. He was assured that help was on the way.

Female party on Cottage Park Road reports that there is smoke in the area from someone burning something. Caller reports that this happens often and she can’t even open her windows. Tonight, she reports a lot of smoke. WFD notified.

 

Friday, July 25

Caller on Hawthorne Avenue reports he has something stuck in his windpipe. Fire notified and W91 responded to assist.

Party on Bowdoin Street reports that her daughter was being harassed by a juvenile while she was at the basketball court on Walden Street last evening. This has been an ongoing situation that the SRO Det. Armistead is aware of. The mother wanted to put it on record.

Units will attempt to serve subject a warrant on Pleasant Street. The subject was not at home. Voicemail left on his cell phone for him to contact the station.

Detail officer reports a party turned over some items he found that were scattered in the street at Wave Way and Shore Drive. 92 will pick them up. Officer brought the items to the owner on Faun Bar Avenue.

Caller on Golden Drive reports that her husband is drunk and won’t leave. Officers request EMS. He was transported for an evaluation.

Party reports that a car on Shirley Street struck her dog. ACO will respond.

Caller reports a female was just walking down the middle of Veterans Road. ACO reports locating the female who is the owner of the dog that was struck in previous incident. Officer reports the female is distraught but will remain on the sidewalk.

Officers sent three individuals out of Hannaford Park.

 

Saturday, July 26

911 call on Revere Street to report that his wife fainted. Transferred to medical. No answer on medical. Fire notified and will send someone.

Caller on Sea Foam Avenue reports a person is behind the wheel of a vehicle and the lights are one, engine is racing and person may be passed out. Officer reports person lives there and just fell asleep.

Party on Pleasant Street requests help for his wife who just fell out of bed. Transferred to fire.

Party brought in a bicycle he found at Ingleside Park by the dumpster. Gray Huffy Verona Comfort Series secured in the Sallyport.

Caller reports a motor vehicle is parked in the handicapped spot at East Boston Savings Bank without a placard. Officer reports having the vehicle moved by owner who was unloading gravel.

A syringe was located behind a locked gated area at the public landing. 92 will respond and secure it in the Sharps container.

Party at Dunkin Donuts on Revere Street reports a male in a wheelchair needs assistance. WFD notified. Officer reports area search conducted and the call appears to be unfounded.

Caller on Wilshire Street requesting EMS for his father. WFD notified.

Several calls of a fight between a male and female on Kennedy Road. Units report speaking with a parent who stated the involved parties left the area.

Party on Revere Street reports that her husband found a syringe behind her property. 92 will secure it.

Caller reports a man acting suspicious in a parked motor vehicle at Bartlett and Pleasant Street. Unit report male being transported to the MGH. Vehicle was toed by G&J towing.

Party reports a possible domestic going on inside a motor vehicle on Crest Avenue. Units off with the vehicle. Units spoke to both p arties and report a verbal argument.

Caller on Pleasant Street stated that he is getting harassing phone calls and he believes it’s from his friend. He was given call number and told to report to phone company.

Party reports it sounds like someone broke a window at the Playmakers.

Caller on Sea View Avenue reports that his puppy dog is missing. It is a Boston Terrier.

Grandfather came to the station to report that his granddaughter is missing. Missing person entered into the system.

 

Sunday, July 27

Caller states a fistfight is about to occur at Hannaford Park. Units respond and report the subjects left prior to their arrival.

Party reports a taxi disturbance in progress on Highland Avenue. Units respond and report the peace restored and services rendered.

Caller states she has with her what appears to be a Down syndrome boy in a tan top and plaid bottoms and is bare foot on Shirley Street. She states he appears disoriented. 91 responds and reports brining back that individual to his residence. The individual residence and father’s cell number has been entered into our system, should this occur again.

Party on Ingleside Avenue requesting an ambulance. Transferred to Action EMC.

Caller on Hawthorne Avenue called to report a past breaking and entering at her residence.

Two calls of a telephone pole struck by lightning in the area of Bayview and Grandview Avenue. WFD notified.

Party on Grandview Avenue came to the station to report that her 16-year-old son had words with a neighbor over beeping of a horn. She just wanted this recorded in case there are further problems. This is not the first time. She does not know the other party’s name.

Caller reports a body on the street at Bartlett Parkway and Orlando. Her husband told her to call. W91 and W92 as well as WFD/Action dispatched. W92 report trying to ID the party found there who was reportedly sleeping. Medical attention was refused and units cleared.

Caller on Bellevue Avenue reports suspicious activity in the area. Units dispatched.

Party reports a group of kids in the area of Caggiano’s Funeral running in the street. W91 reports the area is clear.

Dennis Police request we advise local party to stop contacting/harassing a resident on Bartlett Parkway. W92 sent to the area.

Caller on Myrtle Avenue reports ongoing issue with a barking dog in the area
