Frances Cuminale

Member of Point Shirley Association; Dedicated Her Long Life to

Family and Good Friends

Frances E. (Dwyer) Cuminale of Winthrop passed away on May 3 at the age of 99.

Frances dedicated her long life to her family and the endless love she had for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her many good friends.

A member of the Point Shirley Association, she was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Cuminale. Born in Winthrop, the daughter of the late Henry and Alice (Daly) Dwyer, she was the devoted mother of Joan C. Cuminale of Unionville, CT, Diane M. Senna of Winthrop, and Paul J. Cuminale and his wife, Allison of Claymont, DE; adored grandmother of Mark Zervas, Liza Summa, Greg Zervas, Joseph Cuminale and Christine Degnan; great-grandmother of Alec, Jason, Alicia, Nicholas, Jerry, Mackenzie, Garret, and Lucy Anne and dear sister of the late Harry Jr, Robert, and Paul Dwyer and Mary Easton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home, 210 Winthrop St., Winthrop on Friday, May 9 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will follow in Winthrop Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home today, Thursday only, from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Farmington Valley VNA, 8 Old Mill Ln., Simsbury, CT, 06070 or to a charity of your choice.
