Great Work on the $200,000 Parks Grant

Town Manager James McKenna had some great news when he announced that the town has received a state parks grants of $200,000 that will go toward the refurbishment of Coughlin Park. Town Council President Peter Gill singled out the efforts of McKenna, grants administrator Joe Domelowicz Jr., and others in the obtaining of this grant — which, coupled with the $50,000 allocation by the town for Coughlin Park, will give that park a beautiful, new look, in the manner of the newly- refurbished Pico Park.

The Parks Committee, which sprung from an idea launched by President Gill, has led the way in the transformation of our parks and they are continuing their efforts. This new grant will add to the overall good feeling of our town residents in respect to our recreational areas.
