Driscoll Seeks Winthrop Players for Senior Baseball League

Sean Driscoll, director of Winthrop Parks and Recreation, said that signups for the Senior Baseball League, ages 13 to 15, will continue until April 1.

Opening day is scheduled for the first week of May.

Driscoll said signups for the new season have been very slow. “The league could be in jeopardy of not running after 50-60 years in existence,” said Driscoll.
