Chamber Accepting Scholarship Applications

Applications are now available for the Winthrop Chamber of Commerce and Helen D’Alelio Family Foundation/Dunkin Donuts at the Bridge High School Scholarships.

A $500 scholarship award will be given to the two top essay responses to the following question:

“If you were an entrepreneur living in Winthrop, what business would you like to develop in Winthrop and why?”

In addition to writing the best essay(s), candidates must be graduating high school this year, living in Winthrop, and in good standing at their particular high school.  Essays should be between 250 and 450 words, typed double-spaced. The deadline for submissions is April 11, 2014.  A complete explanation of the criteria as well as the application is available at www.winthropchamber.com
