We talked to our outstanding Parks and Recreation Director Sean Driscoll and he reports that he is fine and back to 100 percent after suffering a mild health scare last week that landed him in the Massachusetts General Hospital for a couple of days. Apparently the daily stress of life issues — and the loss of a close family friend — had an effect on Sean’s health that led to some chest pains.
We’re glad to say Sean is back at 100 percent and he feels good and is leading our Parks and Recreation Department after an incredible week of February school vacation week activities.
We can expect to see Sean at his son Dylan Driscoll’s hockey games as the Vikings begin their quest for the Division 2 state championship and Sean will be back in training camp in August when his football Vikings begin their preseason practices.
Sean Driscoll is a community leader in our town and runs one of the best parks and recreation departments in our state year-round and we wish him the best of health.
