The Town of Winthrop will conduct its Swearing-In Ceremony for all elected town officials on Thursday, Jan. 2 at 6:30 p.m. at the Cummings School.
Town Council President Peter Gill, Councilors Nicholas DelVento, Paul Varone, and Russell Sanford, and newly elected Councilor-at-Large Richard Boyajian will receive theirs oaths of office from Town Clerk Carla Vitale.
School Committee members Brian Perrin and Bill Holden and newly elected member Dawn Sullivan will also be inaugurated.
Housing Authority members Joseph Boncore and Larry Holmes will be inaugurated as will Library Trustees Betty Peabody, Virginia Wallace, and Jillian Teixeira.
Gill will deliver his inaugural address in which he will cite the town’s accomplishments for the past two years and projections for the next two years.
