Big Game for Winthrop Football: Vikings Still Have a Chance at an NEC Title

Despite a tough loss to Peabody last Friday night, the Winthrop High football team can still win the Northeastern Conference title, but the Vikings will have to defeat Classical this Friday night and Danvers next week to lay claim to the crown.

It’s a tough task, but as our Red Sox have been proving all season, anything is attainable with great leadership and team chemistry.

Good luck, Coach Driscoll and the Vikings. We’ll be at Miller Field rooting you on to victory.
