Welcome New Chamber Director Betsy Shane

We wish new Executive Director of the Winthrop Chamber of Commerce Betsy Shane the best of luck in her position. Betsy was introduced as the new executive director at a breakfast meeting Tuesday at the Amvets Post. Anyone who has met Betsy knows what a dynamic and vibrant person she is and we know she will bring that high level of energy to the Chamber membership. We got to know Betsy through her important role at the annual Fourth of July festivities on the Esplanade and we saw the respect and admiration that she had from everyone in the administration of that world-famous holiday event.

Betsy will officially begin in her role as the leader of the 400-member Winthrop Chamber of Commerce organization on Sept. 24. We wish her well and believe that Betsy is the right choice to continue the excellent work that outgoing Executive Director Eric Gaynor did in this leadership position.
