Congratulations are in order for eight year old Winthrop resident Haven Pereira, who is appearing as one of the Von Trapp children in the beloved musical, The Sound of Music, at the North Shore Music Theatre
Haven, who is a Winthrop elementary school student, learned her craft from Trudy Macero and is the granddaughter of former Selectman Ronald Vecchia. She is doing an outstanding job in her role on the stage and is making her family, friends, teachers, and town very proud.
