Groundbreaking at Hospital Site: Letterie Helped Make It Become a Reality

It is great news that there is a groundbreaking ceremony set for Tuesday at the site of the Winthrop Hospital on Lincoln Street where a new assisted living residential facility will be built. The property has been vacant for a long time, but soon there will stand a facility that will be beautifully landscaped and providing for the health and well being of the residents who will live there.

We commend Councilor James Letterie for his diligence and his cooperative and friendly communications with the developers of the propery who have found Winthop to be a good place to do business. It will be a proud day on Tuesday for James Letterie and all of town boards and officials who helped make this project become a reality.
