We wish to extend to the Christian and Jewish members of our community a happy Easter and Passover season. This is the time of year that reminds us how much these two faiths have in common (starting with the Ten Commandments) and the extent to which the Judaeo-Christian heritage forms the core beliefs of our society (including most notably a tolerance for all religions.)
At this time too, we extend our best wishes to newly-elected Pope Francis, as he becomes the spiritual leader of the 77 millions Catholics living in the United States.
