Jurors in the trial of John LaCoy heard opening statements and prosecution testimony on Wednesday. Lacoy, a resident of Winthrop, is charged with second-degree murder for the homicide of Casey Taylor, 36.. Lacoy allegedly stabbed Taylor to death in August 2011 and deposited his remains beneath the porch of his Winthrop Street home. The remains were discovered in an advanced stage of decomposition after a neighbor reported a strange odor to city agencies; Taylor’s identity was determined through the use of dental records. Assistant District Attorney Ursula Knight and defense Atty. John Tardiff appeared before Judge Raymond Brassard in courtroom 806 of Suffolk Superior Court.

Miss u so much Case. Wish more than anything you could still be here with with us all. Will see you again some day. Your friend...Duram.
Casey was a Bully and pushed that guy to murder him. Lacoy was as gentle as a lamb, but even a lamb will bite back when pushed hard enough.
