Fireworks, Parade for Fourth Here

Winthrop will celebrate the Fourth of July with two traditional events.

The Annual Horribles Parade will take place on July 4 at 9 a.m., beginning at the Town Landing and proceeding to Coughlin Playground.

The traditional Fourth of July fireworks show will be held at 9:15 p.m. The 11 Foundation, a local organization founded in memory of former Winthrop High star athlete Mike Mason, was instrumental in continuing the fireworks show this year.
