Police Explorers Need Our Help: Youth Group Contributes to Our Community

Every Winthrop resident would agree that Police Lieutenant Frank Scarpa has provided excellent service during his distinguished in the Police Department. He’s a familiar and trusted face whom we know so well and who has the respect of everybody in town

Lieutenant Scarpa is asking for help for the Police Explorers group of young people whom he advises. The Police Explorers not only contribute to our community presently, but many alumni have gone on to become integral and valued members of our town, having learned the virtues of community service at a young age.

The Explorers need approximately $3,500 to make possible the group’s annual trip to the national conference in Colorado. The conference begins on July 15 so the clock is ticking.

If you would like to help or make a donation to the cause, please contact Lt. Scarpa at the Winthrop police station.
