Thank You, Nancy: Senior Center Director Has Always Championed Our Seniors

We wish to take the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Senior Center to congratulate the center’s director, Nancy Williams, for her outstanding leadership both before and during these past 20 years.

Nancy was on board as director of the senior programs in town well before the new Senior Center was constructed and played an instrumental role in working with State Rep. Bob DeLeo to obtain the grants that were needed to build the new center.

As a  Winthrop resident, Nancy has known all of our seniors personally and has been their champion through thick and thin. Nancy always has gone above and beyond the call of duty and is universally recognized as one of the best at her job in the state.

Without her leadership, it is fair to say that Winthrop might not have had a new senior center. We join with all of our town’s residents in recognizing her contributions over these many years to our community’s senior citizens.
