Matthew Murphy (center) son of James and Karla Murphy, re­cently received a citation from the 54th Engineer Battalion in Afghanistan. Matthew was sent the citation in appreciation of his support of the troops at FOB shank, Afghanistan. Matthew and his father, Jim spend one day a week at Honan sign company where they put together mini care packages that are distribut­ed to soldiers. also shown are Richardw Gay (left) and Richard Honan. Each mini care package (pictured) contains simple neces­sities such as a tooth brush, a razor, Q-tips, Gold Bond powder, deodorant, chap stick, baby wipes, some candy, shampoo and maybe a deck of cards. these mini care packages are also sent to military chaplains in Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan. They are also given out to injured soldiers and marines at military hospitals in Afghanistan.
