June 13

3:44 a.m. — Officers respond to a verbal domestic dispute on Irwin Street, and the female party is given a ride to another location in town.

7:14 a.m. — WPD receives a call about flyers with hate messages toward Muslims that are on the ground in the area of Revere Street and Deane Avenue. (Editor’s note: The same, or similar, flyers have been found in Revere, near Eliot Circle. Revere and State Police are investigating.

9:44 a.m. — A woman asks to be taken to East Boston District Court to obtain an Emergency Restraining Order against her boyfriend, but she later changed her mind.

12:25 p.m. — A Central Street resident reports a breaking and entering at her residence.

1:08 p.m. — Units respond to a Lowell Road residence, where a resident is reportedly fighting with someone he found breaking into his home. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.

1:34 p.m. — A Pearl Avenue resident reports losing the keys to her home and car. Units will be on the lookout for any suspicious activity near her property.

6:11 p.m. — A caller reports that a man is “going crazy after being served a temporary restraining order.” Units respond and calm things down.

8:41 p.m. — A possible case of insurance fraud is referred to detectives.

June 14

1:47 a.m. —  A driver is given a verbal warning for a red-light violation on Main Street.

8:14 a,m. — Officer Hickey helped a resident push a disabled motor vehicle to the side of the road on Main Street.

11:15 a.m. — A Main Street resident reports his driver’s side window was broken sometime overnight while it was parked in front of his house.

2:53 p.m. — A Sunnyside Avenue resident called about an ongoing issue concerning barking dogs in the neighborhood. The caller had several negative things to say about the ACO, but hung up after being told to take up the matter with the ACO directly.

2:54 p.m. — An Ocean View Street resident reports someone “just kicked in his door,” but nothing was taken.

3:31 p.m. — A parent came into the station to report a case of involving her daughter and another student. It is part of an ongoing situation that the school principal is aware of. An officer will speak to all parties.

4:34 p.m. — A caller reports missing a mixed breed black and white dog. The matter is referred to the ACO.

7:12 p.m. — Gerald Tiso, 43, of Winthrop, was arrested and charged with a municipal bylaw or ordinance violation after he was reported to have tired to gain entry into a home on Bartlett Road.

June 15

12:01 a.m. — An officer disperses a group of three kids from the basketball courts at Massa Playground.

12:05 a.m. — Officers are unable to locate a resident whose car is found on Beacon Street with its windows smashed.

2:20 a.m. — Officers quiet down a disturbance at an apartment on Faun Bar Avenue.

8:31 a.m. — A Strand Way resident reports a broken window at her home, possibly the result of a rock being tossed from near the beach.

11:35 a.m. — Officers issue a trespass notice to a shoplifter at CVS Pharmacy on Woodside Avenue.

4:39 p.m. — ACO Van Buskirk, who is covering Revere, is dispatched to that city to deal with an injured raccoon.

4:47 p.m. — A caller reports a “100-pound dog” is running loose on the beach. She said the dog belongs to a Brewster Avenue resident. The matter is referred to the ACO.

6:33 p.m. — A Trident Avenue resident reports losing his wallet either in the area of a Shirley Street laundromat or on Shore Drive.

7:06 p.m. — A resident came into the station alleging that his real estate lawyer told him to obtain a restraining order against his landlord. The request was denied by the East Boston District Court, and the party was told that WPD can’t overrule that decision. The man filled out a victim statement and a hearing will be set up.

10:36 p.m. — A caller reported people are urinating on the premises of a Putnam Street restaurant, but officers are unable to find the subjects.

June 16

9:35 a.m. — An officer is dispatched to the Winthrop Middle School, where a weapon has been found.

11:15 a.m. — A Tafts Avenue resident comes into the station to report he received a threatening letter. An officer determines that it is concerning a civil matter, and he is advised to contact a lawyer.

2:09 p.m. — A Bowdoin Street resident reports that, sometime last night, his catalytic converter was completely removed from his cart.

2:42 p.m. — A Main Street resident reports that a package delivered to his residence was stolen. The package contained coffee cups valued at $155.

2:46 p.m. — Officers respond to a verbal dispute on Deane Avenue. All parties are advised of their rights.

June 17

10:53 a.m. — A Bartlett Road resident calls about a truck that has been idling for the past few hours. It belonged to a neighbor who didn’t realize he had left it running.

9:30 p.m. — A large group if dispersed from the beach neat Otis Street.

10:11 p.m. — Officers respond to a large house party at Jerald and Read streets. A landlord was present, and he is advised that further complaints will result in action.

11:34 p.m. — A large group is dispersed from Sea Foam Avenue and Shirley Street.
