A Healthy Chamber – Membership of More Than 400 is a Testament to Eric Gaynor’s Guidance

We knew that Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Eric Gaynor was building a dynamic Winthrop Chamber of Commerce, but it was still quite heartening to read in the Boston Business Journal last week that Winthrop has one of the largest memberships in the region with 407 members.

When you consider that most of the organizations ahead of Winthrop in the rankings have “regional” chambers or come from much larger communities, it only adds to the accomplishment of Gaynor and his staff to have built such a large group.

The Chamber breakfasts have proven popular with major speakers and statewide office-holders and candidates who come to the town.

The Chamber’s social events have also allowed members to network and enjoy a great night out.

We congratulate Eric Gaynor on building and leading one of the largest Chamber of Commerce organizations in the area.
