Elks Comedy Night fundraiser generates a lot of laughs — and money

On November 12th, 175 Elks members and guests filled the hall at the Winthrop Elks Lodge for a Night of Comedy, staring comedians Jim Lauletta, John David, Joey Carroll, Greg Howell and Jacob Simon.

The evening included special guest singer Lin Darcy, Erik Darcy as the master of ceremonies and Walter and Christine Egan who provided sound support and music.  Attendees enjoyed a night of laughter and donated to silent auctions and raffles.  Through their generosity, over $6,800 was raised to benefit the Winthrop Lodge Charities in the Community both directly and through the Elks National Foundation.
