2010 Winthrop Ornaments on sale now

The 17th edition of the commemorative Winthrop ornaments have been issued. This year’s design features the Winthrop Playhouse in white on a maroon bulb, drawn by artist Grace Meidanis.

All proceeds benefit the holiday lighting fund. The 2010 bulb is a limited edition.

Ornaments are $5 and available at the Winthrop Chamber of Commerce office at 207 Hagman Road and also at Winthrop MarketPlace, Woodside Ace Hardware, Luna Boutique, Shirley Hardware, Bank of America, East Boston Savings Bank, and the Winthrop Federal Credit Union.

The bulbs will also be sold by the Winthrop Playmakers during the run of “A Christmas Carol”. Viking football and snowman ornaments are also on sale now at the Chamber office. Go to winthropchamber.com to order online.
