Outside use of school space

The issue of the fee that the School Department should charge For Kids Only for using the facilities at the Fort Banks School was discussed at the meeting. The members decided that $100 per week was enough to cover the extra cost that would be incurred until the end of the current school year. However, School Committeeman Brian Perrin noted that the current agreement that the school committee uses for lending out space is probably outdated. “A lot more is required,’ he told the members, adding “this form does not cover all the problems.” Perrin volunteered to look over the present form and to propose changes. Chairperson Pat Milano accepted Perrin’s offer and called for a vote that was approved unanimously. Perrin will be submitting changes to the entire committee for their consideration.
